Trippin’ evolved from the conversations when friends started to ask us to share our findings and itineraries on the places we have travelled to and discovered. The cover illustration sums up their first experience together in Tokyo, chasing and missing trains after trains.
We dreamed up the brand name Trippin’. It is not just about a journey, but also being overly excited whenever we have the chance to travel. In our inaugural issue, we covered one of their all time favourite country, Japan.
Written in a first person perspective, the guide is filled with comic strips, little tips and full spread illustrations lined up across the pages, providing little insights and personal stories along the way.
To compliment the book's launch, we reimagined the traditional Japanese books' inventory slip as a practical bookmark. This allows readers to conveniently access important pages with ease.
Pin badges were also made to identify ourselves as Singaporeans, and that we do not speak Japanese.
